  • Where are you located and do you have a shopfront?
    Whimsy Petals' studio is located in the northern Perth beach suburb of Trigg, Western Australia. We don't have a shopfront but instead work out of a private studio. Not having a shopfront means that we only buy from the markets based on the orders we receive which is perfect for reducing waste. If we do have leftover stock, we create little posies and donate them.
  • When are you open and how do I order?
    We're open for pick-ups (by prior arrangement) and deliveries from Tuesday to Friday. Orders can be placed online on the website 24/7 up to 1 week in advance, or by emailing toni@whimsypetals.com.au for custom orders, or by completing this custom order form. Please order by 5pm for next day delivery. We don't offer same day delivery online so if you require a same-day order, please call or text us before 10am on the day of. Please make sure you have given us the correct name and address of the recipient under SHIPPING on your order. Enter your email address here for order confirmation but all other details relate to the recipient so please don’t enter your name and address under shipping unless the flowers are for you. BILLING is for your details in case we need to contact you regarding your order and for invoicing.
  • Can I change my order?
    Absolutely. If you wish to change your order, you can do so by emailing toni@whimsypetals.com.au or calling Toni on 0457 477 688. We'll always do our best to accommodate last minute changes.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Should you need to cancel your order, please contact us asap. ​ We are unable to cancel orders that have already been created and are in the process of being delivered.
  • When and where do you deliver?
    Based in Trigg, we deliver to Trigg, Scarborough, North Beach and surrounding suburbs. Our delivery suburbs and delivery fees are listed in the "Where We Deliver" section of our website. Our delivery days are: Tuesday to Friday - 12 noon to 6pm You can also pick up from our Trigg studio by prior arrangement.
  • Do you offer same day delivery?
    If you need a same day delivery, please give Toni a call or text on 0457 477 688 by 10am.
  • Do you do timed deliveries?
    Timed deliveries are definitely possible, please add your request to the SPECIAL REQUESTS box when placing your order.
  • What if the recipient of the flowers isn't home?
    We prefer someone to be at your delivery location to accept the order. If the recipient isn't home we will only leave flowers unattended if there is a safe and secure location to place them. We'll also advise you, the sender, of the unattended delivery. Please note though that we will not be held liable for theft or extreme weather. If we cannot find a suitable location to leave the delivery and there are no instructions to the contrary, we'll contact the sender or the recipient for further instructions or to arrange redelivery. If you would like delivery left somewhere in particular at the delivery address, please indicate this in the SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS section of your CART. If you're happy for us to contact the recipient to coordinate delivery or redelivery, please ensure their phone number is included in the SHIPPING section of your order. Redeliveries may attract additional delivery fees.
  • Where do you source your flowers from?
    As advocates of the slow flower movement we're huge supporters of using locally-grown WA flowers and failing that, Australian-grown, working with what nature gives us seasonally. This in turn supports our flower farmers and helps reduce our carbon footprint. Very occasionally though, we use imported flowers when there's not the supply here (eg carnations, certain rose varieties) but keep this to an absolute minimum and purchasing consciously and ethically.
  • What's your sustainability ethos?
    We're so glad you asked! Please head on over to our Sustainability section under the Information tab - we have a fair bit of detail there but if you can't find what you're looking for please contact us directly so we can help. But in a nutshell our flowers are: - Floral foam free - Plastic free - Chemical free - we don't use dyed, preserved, bleached, chemical-laden altered flowers - Compostable and mulchable We're also big supporters of the circular economy and low waste.
  • There's a QR code on the back of your business card, what's that for?
    Scanning the QR code takes you straight to the Flower Care Tips on our website. Accompanying each arrangement will be our little round business card. On the back are our contact details plus the QR code. Open the phone camera on your phone, hold it in front of the QR code, click on the link, and then VOILA! You'll find yourself on our website in the Flower Care Tips section but from here you can also navigate to other areas including our online shop for your next flower order. We don't attach flower care cards to our arrangements - let's save the trees! 😎
